La La Anthony is allegedly looking towards life without Carmelo Anthony evee since photos of Carmelo and another women hanging out on a yatch together surfaced. Carmelo has tried to plead his case but that photo may have been enough for La La to sail ship.
According to People, La La Anthony has decided to explore her legal options as she considers what the future will hold for her marriage to NBA player Carmelo Anthony, her rep tells PEOPLE exclusively.
“As La La and Carmelo have been living apart for quite some time, La La is proceeding with legal discussions as the next step in their relationship,” a representative for the Power star says in a statement to PEOPLE.
“They will remain loving and committed parents to their son.”
The couple split before in 2017 but a year later they were back together attempting to work things out.
The two brought in the new year together while on vacation with Kiyan in Los Cabos, Mexico. Carmelo was eager to post a video of the celebration to his Instagram Stories, which showed the then-reconciled couple laughing and dancing.
La La has noted several times that their son Kiyan is her main priority and trying to work their relationship out is worth seeing her son happy.
In 2017 she told PEOPLE “I will do whatever I can to ensure that, and my husband is the exact same way.”
While La La has not filed for divorce, the move is not out of the question in the future. As we know she has been very busy making money moves and has shown determination of not letting bad choices get in her way.
