Unseen Meghan Markle Pictures Shared by Former Suits Co-Star Patrick J. Adams to Mark Series End
While Meghan Markle, Prince Harry and baby Archie complete their 10-day tour of South Africa, fans of Markle’s from her previous work are preparing to say goodbye to the show that made her famous: Suits.
And to mark the end of the long-running drama, which airs its last episode on USA Network Wednesday night, Markle’s former co-star Patrick J. Adams has shared some candid shots from the show’s set, including several previously unseen pictures of the Duchess of Sussex.
Adams plays Mike Ross, the on-screen husband of Markle’s Rachel Zane. Both characters left the show in 2017, at the end of Season 7, as Markle retired from acting to prepare for life as a royal. Adams returned for Suits‘ swan song, appearing in a handful of Season 9 episodes, including the series finale.
On Monday, Adams posted various pictures from the Suits set on Instagram. “This week the last episode of Suits will air and the nearly 10 year journey we’ve all been on together will finally be over. So it seems right to post some photos the next couple of days from the early days,” said Adams.
As well as pictures of himself, Adams shared candid shots of Markle in costume as Rachel Zane, as well as pictures of her lounging on a sofa in between takes and one shot of her in a dressing gown.
Further pictures show Markle posing with co-stars Sarah Rafferty, Gabriel Macht, Rick Hoffman and Gina Torres.
Markle’s character, Rachel Zane, married Adams’ Mike Ross in the Season 7 finale, which was her final episode.
The Duchess of Sussex retired from acting, moved to the U.K., and married Prince Harry in May 2018. The wedding was attended by several of the Suits cast, including Adams, Macht, Rafferty and Hoffman.
Markle, who gave birth to baby Archie in May, is currently on a 10-day royal visit to South Africa with husband Prince Harry.
On Monday, Meghan Markle addressed a gathering of young women in the Nyanga township in Cape Town, telling them, “I am here with you, and I am here for you.”
Meghan Markle and Harry spoke out against gender-based violence and watched young girls being taught self-defense.
“On one personal note, may I just say that while I am here with my husband as a member of the royal family, I want you to know that for me, I am here as a mother, as a wife, as a woman, as a woman of color, and as your sister,” the duchess said.
