Internationally acclaimed singer, Adele, is set to use her new album to help make her nine-year-old son understand why she and his father, got divorced.
She made this known in separate interviews with Vogue’s BritishandAmericaneditions, saying she and her partner Simon Konecki actually got married in 2018 contrary to claims that they got married in 2016.
According to the ‘Hello’ hit-maker in the interview monitored by African Entertainment, “I wanted to explain to him through this record, when he’s in his twenties or thirties, who I am and why I voluntarily chose to dismantle his entire life in the pursuit of my own happiness.”
Adele, who filed for divorce in 2019, says “It made him really unhappy sometimes. And that’s a real wound for me that I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to heal.”
The upcoming album will be the fourth for the 33-year-old singer.
The album, African Entertainment understands is to be titled ’30’. Thirty is the age at which Adele married Konecki.
She observed in the interview that “My entire life fell apart and I had no warning of it.
