Ghanaian stand-up comedy act, Derrick Kobina Bonney popularly known as DKB has stated that actress Akuapem Poloo’s press conference held yesterday was scripted by her legal team.
DKB made this statement in an interview with Accra-based television station UTV on the United Showbiz program hosted by Abeiku Santana.
According to DKB, the legal team of Akuapem Poloo wanted a well-coordinated event to ensure that her emotions did not derail her from the intended purpose.
“Akuapem Poloo was given a script because there was no room for any freestyle. And it was necessary considering how her emotions have gotten the better part of her after her release”, he said.
He added “the legal team, headed by lawyer Andrew Vortia wanted the press conference to be well-coordinated, which was very great.”
Convicted actress Akuapem Poloo, yesterday 24th April, held a press conference to address her jail saga. The actress apologized to Ghanaians for her nude picture and promised never to upload nudes on social media.
“I am very sorry for my actions and promise not to upload nudes on social media again,” she said.
