Amazon is kicking off October’s Prime Big Deal Days early with discounts on select Prime Video channels, movies and TV shows.
Now through Oct. 2, Prime members and Prime Video subscribers can add Starz for $2.99 per month for their first three months, a savings of 70 percent off during the promo period. Regularly $9.99 per month, the Starz add-on on Prime Video offers more than a dozen live channels and is home to Lionsgate films such as all of the John Wick movies, Independence Day, Waterworld, A Southern Haunting, Alien vs. Predator, the Saw franchise and much more, plus access to original TV series such as Outlander, Courteney Cox’s Shining Vale, Julia Roberts’ Gaslit, the Power Book franchise, Party Down, Minx, The Serpent Queen and other original and exclusive TV series.
Through Oct. 15, you can also get BET+ for 99 cents per month for the first three months. The channel offers more than 1,000 hours of Black culture, including Tyler Perry films, original series such as Average Joe and All the Queen’s Men and more.
You can also save when you buy or rent select films, with popular titles such as A Man Called Otto, John Wick 3: Parabellum, Mean Girls, Knives Out, Pitch Perfect 3, The Devil Wears Prada and others alongside holiday classics including Home Alone, Die Hard, Bad Santa, The Holiday, White Christmas and more starting at $4.99.

Amazon Prime Big Deal Days 2023: Start and End Dates and Times
The new Prime Big Deal Days begins Tuesday, Oct. 10, at 12 a.m. PT/3 a.m. ET and runs through the end of Oct. 11.
Similar to last year’s second Prime Day, dubbed the Prime Early Access Sale, the Prime Big Deal Days are a great opportunity to get a head-start on holiday shopping and to get products in stock (and on sale) before the Black Friday rush.
Do You Need To Be a Prime Member to Shop Prime Big Deal Day?
The short answer: yes. While Amazon offers thousands of daily deals online, the best deals are reserved for Prime Members.
