Beyonce along with many protestors are standing up for Breonna Taylor. The fun and loving sister, and daughter was murdered by officials during a no knock warrant.
Breonna Taylors sister Juniyah Palmer spoke out about the murder of her sister, “When they were going to leave out of her apartment they grabbed her EMT jacket. They said somebody left their jacket, and my mom kept telling them that’s my y daughters jacket. The man was kind of like, No it’s not. my mom said yes it is her name is on the front of the jacket B.Taylor. She said she would never forget the look on his face. it was kind of like are you serious we killed one of our own.”
Protestors fought for no knock warrants to become illegal, paying tribute to Breonna they called it the Breonna’s Law. However, the fight is not over. Zero arrest have been made on Breonna’s behalf. Solange Knowles has been heavy on Twitter voicing her concerns and advocating for justice. Solange even deleted everything on her entire Instagram to make sure Breonna Taylor was heavy on the topics. Beyonce has joined her sister in support for Breonna by writing a letter to Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron.
In the letter is states, “Three months have passed — and zero arrests have been made, and no officers have been fired. The LMPD’s investigation was turned over to your office, and yet all of the officers involved in the shooting remain employed by the LMPD.”
