Ghanaian actress cum producer, Kafui Danku has rubbished claims suggesting that every woman is supposed to bleed during their first sexual intercourse.
She said it’s just a folk tale for most men to think every virgin should bleed during their first sexual encounter.
The actress made this assertion in an Instagram video dubbed “The common myth about virginity”.
She shared her experience on her first sexual encounter with the opposite sex, saying she never bled.
“I never shared any drop of blood when I first had sex with the opposite sex. So I was very troubled since it was a norm for every first-timer to bleed after sex”.
She added “I later consulted six of my colleagues, only 2, among the six confirmed they bled during the first encounter”.
Mr. Danku, therefore, asked guys to have a rethink on their claims that every virgin is supposed to bleed during their first sexual encounter.
