Bobby E Crimo III, also known as the Higland Park suspects, Trump supporting Family unveiled.
Law enforcement arrested 22-year-old, AKA Awake The Rapper, aka BobbyCrimo III after massive Highland Park tragedy on July 4th.
According to reports, Bobby E Crimo III was an aspiring rapper. He called himself “Awake The Rapper”. His YouTube videos gained over 25,000 views.
At 21 years old Crimo visited a Trump rally while wearing a Trump flag.
Crimo was also the administrator of a Discord channel named “SS,” the shortened moniker used by the infamous Nazi paramilitary group, the Schutzstaffel, who were mainly responsible for carrying out the numerous atrocities during the Holocaust, reported The Daily Beast.
The uncle of the Highland Park suspect spoke out.
“He’s a quiet kid,” he said. His uncle continued, “He’s usually on his own. He’s a lonely, quiet person. He keeps everything to himself.”
“We are good people here, and to have this is devastating,” Paul Crimo added, noting that his brother, and the suspect’s father, previously ran for mayor of Highland Park in 2019. “I’m so heartbroken for all the families who lost their lives.”
Although officials caught the armed suspect, they’ve filed no charges. Investigation continues, with no motive found.
But looking into his history, the suspected gunman’s father, Bob Crimo, liked a Tweet posted after the Uvalde School Massacre.
Bob Crimo ran a deli called, Bob’s Pantry and Deli, as well as a failed campaign for mayoral position in Highland Park.
“Highland Park provides a safe, clean and supportive environment for family-oriented businesses to operate,” Crimo responded at the time.
Additionally, his Twitter account, shared a photo of himself wearing a Trump flag as a cape.
He also commented on a Trump video from 2020. During the video Trump stated a nasty comment to a reporter in regard to the Rona. Crimo posted to the video saying, “Niceway to end the press conference. I Love It.”
Officials arrested Bobby Crimo III after pulling him over. Police have not yet formally identified him as a suspect, only referring to him as a “person of interest.” But also stated “person of interest” and “suspect” basically mean the same thing during a briefing on Tuesday morning.
