The burial service for Victor Ohene Kwaku Newman, the late Director of Research at the Jubilee House, the seat of Government in Ghana, is set for Saturday, March 13, 2021.
Mr Newman, who was also a senior advisor to President Nana Akufo-Addo, died on Thursday, December 10, 2020, at the Legon Hospital in Accra after a short illness.
Per his obituary sighted by African Entertainment, his family will hold a private wakekeeping for him on Friday, March 12, 2021.
His burial service is to be held from 9:30am to 11:30am at the Christ Presbyterian Church, Akropong, in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
About Victor Ohene Kwaku Newman
He was a founding member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) of Ghana.
In 2017, he was appointed as the Director of Research at the Jubilee House.
Mr Newman was an economist, consultant, financial and research analyst and held a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics.
He held postgraduate qualifications in development planning, budget and financial management, and served at the Economic Research and Planning Services of the Ministry of Food and Agriculture, Western Castings Limited.
Mr Newman was married with four kids.
