The National Women’s Convention for Peace in Cameroon is expected to announce peace proposals in the country’s Anglophone regions.
Proposals are also to be announced for Cameroon’s northern areas affected by Boko Haram attacks.
The announcements are coming after a major peace conference attended by delegates from all parts of Cameroon, ended.
The three-day conference brought together over 1,000 delegates.
“Resolutions will be tabled to policy makers, international community…we are tired of suffering and we want peace,” Esther Oman, one of the organisers, is quoted by DW as telling the press.
