Deyjah Harris Mental Health Part Two Is Out – Celebrity News

Deyjah Harris is the whole mood on turning  trying situations into healing. In 2019 her father rapper T.I spoke out on her virginity. Due to family honesty, Deyjah experienced social media bullying that resulted in her becoming silent and distant with the public. When she did decide to come back out, it was powerful.

Deyjah spoke out about how she had been struggling with depression and mental health issues since she was 11.

“Transparently speaking, depression and anxiety is something that I’ve been dealing with since about the age of 11,” Harris explained in the video, which she filmed in hopes of raising awareness on mental health.

“My self-esteem started to become an issue for me in the sixth grade due to bullying. I started to struggle with understanding what it was that I was feeling and I definitely knew that I wasn’t able to express what it was that I was going through,” Harris continued.

Harris went on to share that “without the proper knowledge and support,” she ultimately turned to “self-inflicted coping mechanisms that weren’t too healthy or beneficial to me or my growth.”

Harris explained that she even had suicidal thoughts.

“There have been multiple times where I couldn’t really envision the evolution of myself due to the fact that I just felt really unmotivated and I also repeatedly had thoughts of me not being here anymore,” Harris said.

Deyjah Harris released the video onto her channel in March.

Most recently, she released a part 2 to mental health and instead of making it a video she loaded it as a document.

In the document she says, “Healing can be such a continuous and up and down process. There will be lots of emotions that come with healing and can honestly be quite draining. You can feel like you’re making progress for weeks or maybe even months and then boom, it seems as though everything you worked so hard for comes crashing back down. Getting help can take many forms and although this might take practice, especially if you’ve spent years criticizing yourself, I want you all to know that it is okay. Just because “time heals all wounds” doesn’t mean that the scars won’t still be there. You take as long as you need when it comes to you and your healing, because this journey is your own unique experience.”

Deyjah Harris made the announcement on her Instagram saying, ” ignore the old photos you’ve all seen already LOL, but i’ve been waiting to let y’all know that the mental health part ll is the link in my bio on both instagram and twitter. i decided to write it out as opposed to filming, but thanks to anyone who might decide to read it whenever you get the chance. part ll has advice for anyone that wants to know how to support their loved one(s) that deal with mental health challenges, if you’re a parent and you wanna know how you can boost your child’s mental health or even if you are 13/14 or younger and you wanna know how you can take care of yourself (physically, mentally, emotionally, energetically, spiritually, etc.) at a young age, there’s advice and suggestions for you too…. and much more🤎! feel free to come back and revisit the document anytime you need to. take care of yourselves please 🤞🏼💫 more youtube videos are coming soon.”
