Diddy remembers Kim Porter, on Instagram after 5 years of her passing. He wrote, “Today, we celebrate you on your rebirth day. I pray y’all get to experience a love like this. I miss you, and I love you forever.”
Kim Porter passed away on this day in 2018 from lobar pneumonia.
She was a super mom to four children, Quincy, Christan Combs, and twins, D’Lila and Jessie Combs. The former couple shared three children. Porter and Diddy dated on and off since the early 1990s.
During the time of her transitioning Combs and Kim Porter were not dating but were still close.
He followed it up with a second post saying, Everyday we celebrate you and thank god for blessing us with the time we shared together. Thank you for making me smile for a life time. You’ve made me a better father and a better man. I’m so grateful for all the moments, the memories, the laughs, and the love.
Once upon a time!!
LOVE YOU FOREVER @LadyKP!!
And they all lived happily ever after!!!
Needless to say, he didn’t lie. Diddy and Porter’s daughters modeled during a Dolce & Gabbana’s Alta Moda couture fashion show in Venice. He could feel her presence.
While speaking on the importance of living life to the fullest during a solo moment, Diddy shouted out Kim as the clouds opened behind him and the sun started to shine through.
“Life is short. Tomorrow is not promised. Live every day to the fullest,” he said while speaking to the camera. “Be your best, be your greatest, be your happiest. Don’t sweat the bulls–t. These are things I say to myself. I’m not preaching. I’m not a preacher.”
The mogul halted in the middle of his comments as the he noticed the sky changing.
“Baby I see you! Look at you shining up there!”
