Health authorities in the Democratic Republic of Congo have recorded six new Ebola virus deaths, the World Health Organization (WHO) has reported.
According to the WHO, the deaths were recorded out eight new cases confirmed in the North Kivu province of DR Congo.
WHO made the announcement on Twitter, saying at least 573 people who had been exposed to the virus have been identified.

In May 2021, DR Congo declared similar Ebola virus outbreak.
The Ebola virus has so far claimed the lives of 2,287 people since August 2018.
