Ghanaian actress, Beverly Afaglo, has thanked her celebrity friends for supporting her GoFundMe campaign and mobile money donations.
“GoFund me and mo donations ends now. Thank u to all my celebrity friends who supported this,” she said on Instagram.
“Am sorry that because of me people insulted u and called u all names. Pls forgive me. God will meet u at the point of ur needs.”
As earlier reported by African Entertainment, a special gofundme campaign aimed at raising money for Ms. Afaglo, was set up on social media.
African Entertainment sighted several posts from individuals appealing for help for Ms Afaglo who lost her home to fire a few days ago.
The target was to raise at least $20,000 to cushion Ms. Afaglo against the harsh reality of the losses she incurred to the inferno.
Ghanaian actresses Yvonne Nelson, Lydia Forson, were among those appealing for support for Afaglo.
“She lost her home. Please help,” Yvonne Nelson appealed to her 6.9 million followers on Instagram.
Former TV3 Talented Kidz contestant, Nakeeyat Dramani is among the several individuals appealing for assistance for Ms. Afaglo.
As African Entertainment earlier reported, Ms Afaglo lost all her belongings to fire outbreak at her house a few days ago.
According to Beverly, her house has burnt to ashes.
In a ‘teary’ Instagram post sighted by AfricanEntertainment, Beverly said “My house burnt to ashes within 4hrs….everything gone, my passports, clothes, shoes, bags, wigs, jewelry, perfumes, my furniture, my kitchen everything gone.”
“Thank God there are no casualties but where do I start from?” she asked.
