    Ghana President Kneels Down In Church For Prayer


    President Nana Akufo-Addo of Ghana on his knees at the installation and enthronement ceremony of Rt. Rev Dr. Cyril Kobina Ben-Smith, as the 2nd Archbishop of the Anglican Church of Ghana

     

    Ghanaian President, Nana Akufo-Addo, has humbled himself before the Lord as he knelt down in church to be prayed for.

    On Saturday, February 27, 2021, Mr  Akufo-Addo attended the installation and enthronement ceremony of Rt. Rev Dr. Cyril Kobina Ben-Smith, as the 2nd Archbishop of the Anglican Church of Ghana, at Asante-Mampong, in the Ashanti Region.

     

    During the ceremony, Mr Akufo-Addo was called before the congregation so the men of God pray for him.

    It was a humbling experience as President Akufo-Addo, a man with overwhelming power showed reverence to God Almighty.

    Meanwhile, during his speech at the ceremony, Mr Akufo-Addo indicated  amongst others, that “it will not be under the presidency of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo that same-sex marriage will be legalised in Ghana. It will never happen in my time as President.”
