British actress of Harry Potter’s fame, Helen McCrory, has died, aged 52.
The actress, according to information gathered by African Entertainment, died after a “heroic battle with Cancer”.
Damian Lewis, who married McCrory in 2007, announced her death and paid tribute to her.
In a Twitter post, Mr. Lewis announced the untimely death of his wife, saying: “I’m heartbroken to announce that after a heroic battle with cancer the beautiful and mighty woman that is Helen McCrory has died peacefully at home surrounded by a wave of love from friends and family”.
“She died as she lived fearlessly. God, we love her and know how lucky we are to have had her in our lives. She blazed so brightly, go now, Little One, into the air, and thank you”, Lewis wrote.

Madam McCrory began her career on stage and appeared in more than 25 productions during the 1990s through to the mid-2010s.
She has also starred in movies including James Bond’s film, ‘Skyfall’ ‘The Special Relationship’, ‘The Queen’ and ‘Wife of U.K Prime Minister’.
The late McCrory left behind two children, Gulliver Lewis, Manon Lewis, and parent Ian McCrory, Anne McCrory.
