Two East African nations, Kenya and Uganda have won Olympic old medals.
Joshua Cheptegei of Uganda and Faith Kipyegon won the gold medals for their countries on the athletics track on day 14 of the Tokyo Olympics.
Joshua emerged victorious in the men’s 5,000m to take his second medal of the Olympics. He had earlier won a silver in the 10,000m.
On her part, Ms Kipyegon retained the1500m title she won at the Rio Games five years ago.
