The artist currently known as Kid Cudi performed with a new look at the Smokers Club Festival 2022. The latest look may shock some if they are not real Kid Cudi fans. But if you are a true Kid Cudi fan it may just be totally wild.
The artist currently known as Kid Cudi real name Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi, began rapping in 2003. He moved to the big apple in 2005 with only $500 in pursuit of a music career.
The artist ran into Kanye West while working at BAPE, clothing store.
Soon after he signed to West-founded label GOOD Music and appeared on several of the “Stronger” rapper’s albums. Most recently, he recorded the song “Rock N Roll.” The song collaborates with West and Pusha T. “Rock n Roll” is part of Pusha T’s upcoming album.
As far as performances, the ” Day and Night” artist took the stage on Saturday, April 30th, giving Kurt Cobain vibes.
In the video Kid Cudi held the mic performing “Tequila Shots”. His hair in a blonde bob, wig. Others said his look reminded them of Garth from Wayans world.
The lineup for the festival also included Schoolboy Q (performing his 2014 album Oxymoron), Wiz Khalifa (performing 2010 mixtape Kush & Orange Juice), 2 Chainz and Ferg, Joey Bada$$, Flatbush Zombies, Dom Kennedy, Larry June, Lupe Fiasco, Yung Lean, Berner and Curren$y, Danny Brown, Rico Nasty, Earl Sweatshirt, Jay Rock, Ab-Soul and Wale, and more.
A pregnant Rihanna was also captioned in the audience with ASAP Rocky.
If you are looking to attend the festival next year, The Smokers Club Festival occurs after Coachella. It began in 2017, put on by Goldenvoice – the organization responsible for Stagecoach and Coachella, and Urban Commons, a local development firm.
Tickets typically range from 222 dollars to 450.
