Kim Kardashian’s trainer insists Kim achieved her 16 pound weightloss the healthy way. After revealing her strict three-week diet Kim K told Vogue she starved for three weeks. The star wore a vintage Maryline Monroe gown. The same gown Monroe wore to President John F. Kennedy’s birthday celebration in 1962.
Not long after did LiLi Reinhart jumped to social media to express concerns over Kim’s comment.
“So wrong. So fucked on 100s of levels,” Reinhart wrote on her Instagram story. “To openly admit to starving yourself for the sake of the Met Gala. When you know very well that millions of young men and women are looking up to you and listening to your every word. The ignorance is other-worldly and disgusting.”
Moments later she urged followers to stop supporting stars “whose entire image revolves around their bodies,” and added: “I am generally not an angry person, but the toxicity of this industry sometimes really gets to me.”
Although, Reinhart never said a name, people knew exactly who the commented directed to.
Kim Kardashian also explained to Vogue, why losing the weight was the only option. Ripley’s Believe It or Not! museum loaned the gown for that night. In other words, no alterations allowed.
Kim Kardashian has not released a statement in regard to Reinhart’s comment on her 16 pound weightloss. However, Kim Kardashian’s trainer did.
Don-A-Matrix aka Don Brooks said, I’m not sure why people are offended by you losing 16lbs for this, but we did it healthy and focused utilizing the Matrix Mindset.
I work with many people who gain and lose tons of weight for movie roles all the time, and you approached this like a role you were preparing for. Even boxers lose major weight for weigh ins and they aren’t criticized.
You worked hard to fit into this iconic dress, even doing workouts twice a day. Seeing how successful you are and how you continue to dedicate yourself is so inspirational. Keep your MindRight & BodyReady!!
Brooks also trained Kim’s sisters for years.
