Kristoff St John From The Young And The Restless was found dead in his home on Sunday. There was No cause of death listed at the time for the actor. An autopsy was scheduled for Monday, the medical examiner’s office said. Kristoff St. John joined “The Young and the Restless” show in 1991. He won Daytime Emmy Awards in 1992 and 2008 for his work on the show, and was nominated several times for playing Winters.
Kristoff st John was the father of a suicide victim. In 2015 he spoke with Entertainment Tonight about losing his 24 year old son to suicide. At the time of his sons death he was placed in a mental institution, seeking help. Unfortunately, he was found in his room dead. He recalled to Entertainment Tonight, “That call was the worst call I’ve ever had in my life,” Kristoff St. John told ET. Kristoff was separated from his sons mother at the time of his sons death. Nevertheless, they both filed suite against the menatal facility. Kristoff is the father of a son as well as two daughters Lola and Paris.
Most recently, Kristoff St. John found a love and got engaged to model Kseniya Mikhaleva. She spoke out about his death on social media “You were everything to me …. you were a loving father, a loving man”.
CBS and Sony Pictures, who aired “The Young and The Restless” also shared thoughts and feeling on Kristoff’s passing. “He was a very talented actor and an even better person,” the statement said. “For those of us who were fortunate enough to work with him on ‘The Young and the Restless’ for the last 27 years, he was a beloved friend whose smile and infectious laugh made every day on set a joy and made audiences love him.”
Furthermore, Police confirm that alcohol may have been the cause of his death. His fiance spoke out saying that he was sad prior to his death because she was in Russia. Not to mention, The couple had not seen each other since New Years Eve. Ksenyia was waiting for paperwork to be completed so that she could join her fiance in L.A.
