Ghanaian musician, Emmanuel Kofi Botchwey, popularly known as Kwaw Kese, has come out with what he called 1MAD.
With 1MAD, he appears to have completely ‘copied’ Shatta Wale’s 1Don and Stonebwoy’s 1GAD.
He shared an image of himself with a red top and red Sneaker on Facebook Sunday afternoon, April 18, 2021. He captioned the picture: #1MAD.
Kwaw Kese, also called Abodam, is a hiplife artist.
He became well known for his 2007 hit album, Abodam. He won five awards at the 2008 edition of the Ghana Music Awards with the Abodam album.
But he has had ‘troubles’ with some netizens in recent time. For the netizens, Kwaw Kese’s “time has past” and that he was engaging in unnecessary activities online with the aim of regaining relevance.
In a video sighted on his Facebook page by African Entertainment, he took time to address those netizens who felt he was no longer relevant, telling them to stop commenting under his posts and rather go on the late Michael Jackson’s page if he’s not relevant.
Shatta Wale released his 1Don single, a follow up to his Hajia Bintu track, in January 2021.
A month later (February 2021), Stonebwoy came out with his 1GAD single.
