    Lauryn Hill Makes History As Album ‘The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill’ Goes Diamond

    Lauryn Hill is now the first female rapper in history to have an album sell 10 million copies. 

    According to Complex, the legendary rapper’s Grammy award-winning 1998 ‘The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill’ album was certified diamond status by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) after it sold over 10 million copies.

    The latest fest moves Hill to the exclusive class of diamond rappers. The very thin list includes 2Pac, Outkast, Notorious B.I.G, Eminem, Nelly, MC Hammer, Whiz Khalifa, Juicy J, Drake, Lil Nas X among others.

    Hill’s multiple award-winning album debuted to rave reviews on August 25, 1998.
