A Louisiana woman ticketed for wearing shorts and crop top share details on the fashion police who stopped her.
She shared her exact outfit to Tik Tok. According to Casey LaCaze-Lachney, La Police cited her for indecent exposure.
Her attire included a black crop t-shirt. The shirt covered her shoulders but stopped just above her belly button. She paired her crop top with cutoff denim shorts and a studded belt.
During the video LaCaze-Lachney states “All of my bits are covered. Are you kidding me? At a family event where there’s alcohol being literally handed out for free and three female cops came up to me and gave me a ticket.”
The fashion police of Winnfield Louisiana wrote a statement on Facebook. Without stating Casey’s name, they claimed she caused a negative impact to the service they provide. Additionally stating the three female officers received several complaints. Therefore, they responded with a citation. As well as stating the citation under city ordinance.
The Fashion Police Responded
According to the referenced city ordinance, “It shall be unlawful for any person to wear pants, trousers, shorts, skirts, dresses or skorts in any public place or places open to the public which either intentionally exposes undergarments or intentionally exposes any portion of the pubic hair, cleft of buttocks, or genitals.” Tickets range from 25 to 300 dollars.
Nevertheless, on Casey’s Tik Tok page, @Kazzi112 her shirt bared no under garment citing’s. Nor did her shorts reveal pubic hair. As well as none of her genitals fell out of her clothing.

“I moved here in October and don’t know the officer that approached me,” said LaCaze-Lachney. She continued, “I did feel targeted.
She also stated no one informed her about the complaints. Additionally noting how the situation traumatized her confidence in style.
