Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are fans of some of the photos taken by celebrity photographers. In fact some of our favorite photos are theirs as well. According to reports, the iconic photo taken of the couple by photographer Samir Hussein, has been on their favorites list.
The photo captures Meghan Markle and Prince Harry starring at each other in matching blue, while holding an umbrella in the rain. Samir told reporters, “The picture that I took of Harry and Meghan in the rain recently, I’ve never had a reaction to a picture like that one,” Hussein told Us Weekly in an exclusive. “In terms of the reaction I’ve had from people, that’s got to be the most iconic from that point of view. I spoke to some of their team and they were really happy about it and talking about it.” Talk about the ultimate compliment.
The photo was taken March 31st at this year’s Endeavour Fund Awards ceremony. The event marked the 35-year-old prince and 38-year-old duchess’s first joint U.K. engagement since announcing their plans to step back from their duties as senior members of the royal family.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry continue to impress the world with their fashion, business goals and more. Meghan recently, hopped on Zoom to encourage a young woman right before her job interview.
The young woman is part of an organization called Smart Works Network. Meghan told her, “It’s been such an honour to meet and learn from so many talented women in the Smart Works network over the years, and recently to see the amazing work they’re doing to adapt their programs to the reality of this pandemic. Their ability to continue to empower women and help them harness the confidence they need to succeed during this time is inspiring.”
