Melania Trump praises Lebron James after President Trump discredits him. Yup, it’s that monent when your wife is a fan of the brother you hate. It probably gets worse as Melania is down to meet with Lebron James as well.
A few days ago via Twitter, Mr Trump called Lebron the “dumbest man on television,” adding that he “made Lebron look smart, which isn’t easy to do”.
“I like Mike!” the president added, in what appeared to be a reference to James’ fellow NBA player Michael Jordan.
Melania has proven to think differently.
“It looks like LeBron James is working to do good things on behalf of our next generation,” Ms Trump’s spokeswoman said in a statement, adding that the first lady would be open to visiting the school James recently opened in Ohio.
Lebron and Melania seem to have a lot more in common since they are both advocates for children doing better. With Melania’s “Be Best” initiative encouraging children to BE BEST in their individual paths, while also teaching them the importance of social, emotional, and physical health, it makes perfect since for her to support Lebron.
Lebrons 8 million dollar school “I Promise” where students will receive free tuition, free uniform. free breakfast, lunch and snacks, free transportation within 2 miles, a free bicycle and helmet access to a food pantry for their family and guaranteed tuition for all graduates to the University of Akron.
Ms Trump’s spokeswoman, Stephanie Grisham, said in her statement that the first lady “encourages everyone to have an open dialogue about issues facing children today”.
