Tanzanian artist Nandy has joined Empawa, a company owned by a prominent Nigerian artist Mr. Eazi.
Mr. Eazi in a post she posted on her Instagram page welcomed Nandy to Empawa while officially introducing her as a new member of the company.
Alongside the post, Mr. Eazi posted a photo of herself with Nandy, as well as another photo of Nandy’s song ‘I’m used to you’.
According to a post by Mr. Eazi, Empawa was involved in the production and distribution of the song ‘Nimekuzoea’.

Nandy last week traveled to Ghana where he met Mr Eazi. He later published a photo showing him in the studio with music producer Producer Kimambo Beats. Nandy’s post revealed that she had gone to Ghana for a musical career.
Empawa Company is not a label for recording songs as many think. Empawa is involved in the distribution of dance as well as increasing the market for artists. Empawa thus works with many artists including those who are free and those who are signed to various labels. Nandy’s joining the company is a great achievement for Mr Eazi as Nandy is one of the most influential female artists not only in Tanzania but in East Africa as a whole.
