    Nipsey Hussle Star on the Walk of Fame Posthumously


    Nipsey Hussle star on the Walk of Fame is said to take place on what would be his 37th birthday. On Monday August 15th, 2022, marks the CEO and rapper’s birthday. The Nipsey Hussle star was announced last June.

    Ermias Asghedon joins other recording artist honored this year. This includes include the Black Eyed Peas, George E. Clinton Jr., Avril Lavigne, Los Huracanes Del Norte and Martha Reeves. Ashanti and DJ Khaled both received their stars during a celebratory ceremony in April.

    The late rapper, born Ermias Joseph Asghedom, was gunned down in March 2019, outside of his Marathon Clothing store in Los Angeles. A jury deliberated for six hours before Eric Holder was found guilty in July 2022 of first-degree murder.

    Additional legendary rap artists also have stars include 50 Cent, Diddy, Pharrell Williams, LL Cool J, and LA. natives Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube and Cypress Hill.

    The ceremony takes place Monday, Aug. 15, at 11:30 PDT.

    The Nipsey Hussle star will also be one of many honors he will receive posthumously. During August, The Marathon CEO had a Metro rail station named after him within the area he grew up in. CBS Los Angeles confirmed the station is located at “Nipsey Hussle Square”. The station serves along the Hyde Park line, which stops in Los Angeles and Inglewood.

    Additionally, Lauren London opened The Marathon Cultivation with a grand opening. The Marathon Collective flagship dispensary opened on Saturday, June 18th. at 7011 Canoga Ave Canoga Park, CA 91303 United States.

    During the month of July, the Los Angeles County jury found his killer Eric Holder guilty of first-degree murder. He was a former associate who shot the victim at least 10 times before kicking him in the head, as previously reported. During the trial, officials listened to testimonies from eyewitnesses such as Bryannita Nicholson, who drove the getaway car during the March 31, 2019, incident. Holder also was found guilty of possessing a firearm as a felon, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon and two counts of attempted voluntary manslaughter, as there were two bystanders wounded in the shooting. He faces life behind bars during his sentencing on Sept. 15.
