Popular British broadcaster, Piers Morgan has revealed he has stepped down from the Good Morning Britain show.
Morgan’s recent decision to leave the show after six years comes in the wake of the 41,000 complaints ITV received following the seasoned broadcaster’s disparaging comments on Meghan’s explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey.
While taking sides with the royal family and the queen, the controversial broadcaster persistently stood firm on his views that Meghan was dishonest in the viral CBS interview.

According to an ITV spokesperson, Morgan’s decision to leave has not been contested by ITV. “Following discussions with ITV, Piers Morgan has decided now is the time to leave Good Morning Britain. ITV has accepted this decision and has nothing further to add.”
Famous for his polarizing takes on topics, Morgan began hosting ITV’s Good Morning Britain show in 2015. He co-hosted the breakfast programme with Susanna Reid.
