A state funeral for former President George Herbert Walker Bush took place Wednesday at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. Family, friends and world leaders attended the services for the 41st president. He died Nov. 30 at age 94. months since the passing of his wife of 73 years, former first lady Barbara Bush.
The former President George H.W Bush had been hospitalized a few times over the past several months. Soon after Barbara Bush’s death in April, Bush was hospitalized with a blood infection and again in May with low blood pressure and fatigue.
As the former President was laid to rest many witnessed this moment. There are over 100 photos captured in his honor.
