Rihanna is standing up for her rights and beliefs and Amy Shumer along with others are supporting her.
According to People Magazine a Rihanna Source told them, “Yes they asked her and yes, she declined.”
Many fans are not happy about Rihanna turning down the performance, however the cause is understood by many supporters. A Rihanna source goes on to tell People, the decision was likely made from Rihanna supporing former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, known for kickstarting the #TakeAKnee movement.
Rihanna turning down the Superbowl was reported on Thursday, and Amy Schumer showed that she supported Rihanna’s reaction fully. Amy Schumer also noted that it would be “cool” if Maroon 5, who are expected to perform at the 2019 Super Bowl, followed Rihanna’s lead.

Schumer has been pondering whay many white players are not joining Kaepernick in his stance.

Meanwhile Rihanna has also been pushing her political stance by encouraging her Instagram followers to go out and register to vote.
Anika Noni Rose also supported Rihanna saying she loved her before, but loves Rihanna even more now.
Rihanna has been politically active in the past, standing up for women rights along with Kim kardashian. Cyntoia Brown, was arrested during her teen years for killing a man in attempt to escape his sex trafficking scheme. unfortunatley, Cyntoia Brown was thrown in jail for defending herself after being captured in the mans home.Rihanna along with Kim Kardashian rallied to have Cyntoia Brown free from jail. Cyntoia Brown has not yet been released, however Kim Kardashian has hired attorneys on her behalf.
One thing we do know is, turning down the Super bowl is not hurting Rihanna at all. Rihanna currently released a new Fenty beauty line called ChillowT. The collection is a hit for the holidays and even caught the eye of former boyfriend Chris Brown. (Rihanna also took a stance on Chris Brown too ?)
Rihanna is good, no need to break her beliefs for a bit of change.
