Rihanna’s New Music Alert Watch Her Head Into Hollywood’s Recording Studio

Rihanna’s new music may arrive sooner than later. The 34-year-old CEO of Fenty Beauty walked into the studio smiling, with her hair pinned back on Friday. Badgal RiRi sported some shades along with a brown jersey, jeans, and pink and white heels.

In December 2020, Rihanna revealed she plans “to take my music and my brands to a different level” in 2021. However, fans anticipated a much sooner drop.

Rumor on Rihanna’s new music spread again during her Fenty event in Los Angeles over Super Bowl weekend. ASAP Rocky’s boo confirmed that new music is most definitely on the way.

“Yes, you’re still going to get music from me,” she told Entertainment Tonight, before joking, “My fans would kill me if they waited this long for a lullaby,” a nod to her first pregnancy with A$AP Rocky. The singer added that she was taking “one thing at a time.”

This year, a new song titled “Righteous” has been registered on SongFile. Rihanna listed as Robyn Fenty on the songfile. Other writers on the song include Early Anthony Johnson, Joel Compass, and Jorja Alice Smith. As well as Patrick Johnson, and Ross Schwartman.

Rihanna’s last full-length album in was 2016’s Anti. The album went a triple-Platinum with chart-topping singles. One of her last collabs with Drake “Work” reached number one on the United States’ Billboard Hot 100 chart. Additionally marking Rihanna’s fourteenth number-one single. As well as placing her with the fourth-most number-one songs on the chart (after The BeatlesMariah Carey and Elvis Presley).  It’s also the album Rihanna considers “my best album to this day,” as she told Vogue for their May 2022 issue. Anti followed 2012’s Unapologetic, which contained arguably Rihanna’s biggest song, “Diamonds.” Until 2021, the four years between Anti and Unapologetic were the longest gap fans endured between Rihanna’s projects, as she used to put out albums at a much more frequent pace.
