Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, has been named the English Premier League Player of the Month for September 2021.
Ronaldo rejoined United this season from Serie A club, Juventus.
He has since made positive impact on the Old Trafford team, scoring in his second debut match against Newcastle United.
He also saved United in the UEFA Champions League with his last-gasp winner against Spanish side, Villarreal.
Commenting on his award on social media, Ronaldo says he was “Proud to be elected Player Of The Month among so many great players in the Premier League.
In his post sighted by African Entertainment, the 36-year-old Portuguese football icon who is on a two-year contract with Manchester United thanked “all my teammates at Man. United, couldn’t have done it without them. Let’s keep working hard and the results will come! 🔴⚫️💪🏽 #MUFC”
