    Senegal Remains Africa’s Number One; Belgium Maintains World’s Number One Position

    Senegal’s Teranga Lions remain Africa’s number one team, the latest FIFA/Coca Cola ranking has shown.

    The Teranga Lions also remain the 21st team in the world.

    Tunisia placed second in Africa and 28th in the world.

    Algeria are up 12 places to 30th in the world and third in Africa.

    Morocco is fourth in Africa and 32nd in the world.

    Still occupying the number one position in the world is Belgium, per the ranking sighted by African Entertainment on www.fifa.com.

    The ranking was updated on August 12, 2021.

    Brazil are second. France came in third, England fourth and Italy are fifth.

    Sitting in the sixth position is Argentina.

    In the seventh position in the world is Spain while Portugal, Mexico and USA are eight, ninth and 10th respectively.

    Nigeria’s Super Eagles of Nigeria dropped seven places to 34th position in the latest FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking.
