Popular Ghanaian record producer, MOG Beatz, has warned dancehall artist, Shatta Wale, to stop bragging about being the richest artist in Ghana.
According to MOG Beatz in an audio recording obtained by African Entertainment, Shatta Wale is a “broke ass artist” who is parading himself as Ghana’s richest artist even when he cannot afford to pay his debts.
He released the audio after initially attacking Shatta Wale in a Facebook post, alleging that the dancehall musician had refused to pay him for producing his “Reign” album.
MOG Beatz is believed to have produced 10 singles off Shatta Wale’s 2018 album “Reign.”
However, he claimed that Shatta Wale had woefully failed to pay him for producing the album three years down the line.
According to him, Shatta Wale assured him during the production that he was going to pay. However, he said after the album became a hit, Shatta refused to honour his pledge.
“Money Man @shattawalegh , me I dey see you as a big brother i never had. I know say you no be STINGY like that lol, i produced 10 songs on the #ReignAlbum but ano see no CASH from you since 2018. Seeing this made me laugh sooo hard,” MOG Beatz wrote on Facebook.
But Shatta Wale has taken to Twitter to ‘clear’ the air.
According to Shatta Wale, he paid Ghc 100 each for the beats and therefore did not owe MOG Beatz.
“As if I make 5million 💰 for your stupid beats you played for me … like that one you can talk like this …. I swear you be foolish boy .. u get my number too so Ade wonder all this pussy behaviour ..all because of extra fame…. Toto miiii🖕🖕🖕,” a post sighted by African Entertainment on Shatta Wale’s official Twitter handle read.
