Teyana Taylor confirmed her pregnancy in June after daughter Junie somewhat blurted it out on her live. Junie joined her parents in photos and videos before the announcement as she handed her mom her a rose while before she snagged the cutest pose. She was also capture rubbing mom’s belly.
Taylor showed off her belly curves in a yellow jumpsuit during her album release party of her now third record, ironically called The Album, features guest appearances from big names like Lauryn Hill, Missy Elliott and Erykah Badu and she chose an important day for the album’s release: Juneteenth. It’s a day for observing the end of slavery in Texas, the last state to free its slaves.
Speaking on the be album Teyana Taylor says, “I personally felt like it was only right,” Taylor says, “because it’s a celebration for my culture and my people, to show that no matter what we go through, we always pull through.”
We can’t wait to see Junie be a big sister to Rue Rose Shumpert as Junie has so much personality already. Junie is now five years old.
