The only flaw of this show is I have to wait a week between each episode!
TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT, FOLKS! Kung Fu premieres at 8 p.m. ET/7 CT — only on The CW — and to say ya girl is excited is an UNDERSTATEMENT, to say the least:
So, to celebrate the premiere of The CW’s first Asian-led series, we had the cast — Olivia Liang, Jon Prasida, Shannon Dang, Eddie Liu, Gavin Stenhouse, and Tony Chung — hop on a Zoom chat to play our lovely game of Who’s Who.
The show may be a serious drama-fantasy about martial arts, but this cast proved they were fun and silly off screen. Like it was exposed that Olivia — who plays the lead, Nicky Shen — has an “encyclopedic knowledge of chips”:
And that Gavin — who plays Nicky’s ex, Evan Hartley — is most likely to be caught at the gym, because he “takes his gym with him everywhere that he goes”:
Or that Shannon — who plays Nicky’s sister, Althea — is most likely to be caught taking a selfie — but she’s also most likely to take a photo of you if you ask!
Anyway, stan this cast for clear skin and good health and be sure to catch Kung Fu on The CW every Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET/7 CT.
