Trumps home raided by FBI on Monday are allegedly in concern of boxes he brought home from the White House after his loss. So far, Trump had to return 15 boxes taken from the White House in January.
The NARA stated, “in mid-January 2022, NARA arranged for the transport from the Trump Mar-a-Lago property in Florida to the National Archives of 15 boxes that contained Presidential records, following discussions with President Trump’s representatives in 2021.” But after the box search, they discovered that Trump had also taken documents clearly marked as classified and sensitive for national security.
The White House noted they were not informed of the raid.
“We did not have notice of the reported action and would refer you to the Justice Department for any additional information,” a White House official said.
Trump revealed the raid on his home during a tele- rally for Sarah Palin on Monday. Although, the White House stated they were not aware of the raid, Don JR still tweeted a message including them.
“Biden’s out of control DOJ is ripping this country apart with how they’re openly targeting their political enemies. This is what you see happen in 3rd World Banana Republics!!!”
Donald Trump spoke out as well. “After working and cooperating with the relevant government agencies, this unannounced raid on my home was not necessary or appropriate … They even broke into my safe!” he said.
Supporter of the Republican party responded to Trumps home raided by FBI. As protestors stood outside the home during the raid the crowd grew larger over time.
According to Eric Trump there was nothing in the safe. However, two sources state differently. The Federal agents stated that they seized documents from Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida.
About 30 agents raided the home. Nevertheless, a Judge confirmed the search as necessary. The search began around 9 a.m. on Monday morning.
