Portuguese giant, FC Porto, have kicked their Italian counterpart, Juventus out of the UEFA Champions League.
Porto pulled off a major upset on Tuesday night, March 9, 2021, in Turin, Italy, to progress to the quarterfinals of the 2020/2021 UEFA Champions League.
At the end of normal time (90 minute), the score was Juventus 2-1 Porto, making it 3-3 on aggregate.
Both clubs then went into extra 30 minutes where Porto put up the surprise, leaving Cristiano Ronaldo and his teammates frustrated.
Despite winning 3-2 in Turin, the Italian champions failed to progress beyond the round of 16 because Porto enjoyed an away goal advantage.
The first leg was played in Portugal and ended 2-1 in favor of FC Porto.
