Vanessa Bryant’s Mom Wants More Money 96 dollars an Hour

Vanessa Bryant’s mom still wants her $96 dollars am hour for being the former nanny to the family.

How often is it that people are still paid for a former job?

Well according to Sofia Lane she was promised this payment for life.

Vanessa Bryant’s mother is battling her in court, standing by her claims that Vanessa has abandoned her financially following Kobe’s death, even after she was promised that she would be supported for the rest of her life. Last week, Sofia Laine filed a $5 million lawsuit against her daughter and Kobe Bryant’s estate, Vanessa came forward and said her mother is trying to extort her.

Vanessa However released a statement recently insinuating this promise was from Kobe.

“Unfortunately, Kobe Bryant’s promise did not see the light of day as he is now deceased and Vanessa Bryant took each and every step she could to void and cancel all of Kobe’s promises,” the lawsuit claims, asserting that Vanessa Bryant never intended to honor those wishes.

She then continued saying, “She was a grandmother who was supported by me and her son-in-law at my request,” Vanessa Bryant said. “She now wants to back charge me $96 per hour for supposedly working 12 hours a day for 18 years for watching her grandchildren. In reality, she only occasionally babysat my older girls when they were toddlers.”

“Even after that betrayal, I was willing to provide my mother with monthly support for the rest of her life, and that wasn’t good enough,” Vanessa Bryant said. “She, instead, contacted me through intermediaries — contrary to what she claims, my phone number hasn’t changed — and demanded $5 million, a house and a Mercedes SUV.”

Sofia Laine spoke out about their issues saying, “For starters, I would like to state that I do not enjoy airing our family grievances in the public. Although I filed a lawsuit, I did not make any public comments and was hoping for the court process to run its course without the publicity, as hurtful as it is. I did not want this and do not want this,” Laine said in her statement. “However I did not have a choice as it is Vanessa’s own doing that has resulted in this now public quarrel. All I wanted is what I worked for. Vanessa, despite everything that I have been promised and done for her and the family, has attempted to sever all ties and renege on all obligations and agreements. Why would she do this to her own mother? I am so disappointed, hurt, and wronged to the point that I had no choice but to file a lawsuit. I am nearly 70 years old, my health is deteriorating, and my own daughter is dong this to me?”

Do you feel Vanessa Bryant still owes her mother payment for support or is her mothers babysitting pay now over with?
