Wendy Williams Brother Thomas Williams Jr. wasted no time shutting down reports that Wendy is suffering from dementia.
The rumor started when The Ricky Smiley Morning Show’s Toine The Don, also known as Antoine Edwards. Toine explained on Nov. 22 the shocking update on Wendy’s health: “It is being reported that the 57-year-old talk show host has completely lost all blood circulation in her legs and in her feet.”
“The entertainment group Lionsgate reportedly has Wendy stored away under lock and key to prevent another booze and vodka-filled depression,” Toine said in an Instagram post. For the record, he also claimed Wendy’s ex-husband and former manager, Kevin Hunter, is allegedly cheating on his fianceé, Sharina Hudson.
Wendy Williams Brother chatted with The Sun, Thomas Williams, Jr. said his sister isn’t having any cognitive issues and her problems are all related to her physical health.
“We haven’t had any alerts like that and I haven’t seen anything like that or have had conversations with her that would lead me to believe that,” he said. “We routinely go up and check on Wendy even though we’re all down here in Florida. I try to make it up there and my dad speaks with Wendy frequently. So no, we don’t have any concerns concerning her mental state. It’s all physical. I am trying to find out if she’s coming down for Thanksgiving. I mean- she’s normal like that.”
As of now, Wendy still isn’t scheduled to return to her infamous purple chair on the set of The Wendy Williams Show anytime soon. Things seemingly started going downhill fast for the host after she canceled a promotional tour for the show’s current season in early September, due to “ongoing health issues.”
