The NBA is starting a new in-season tournament for 2023-2024. It involves all 30 teams divided into six groups within two conferences, while each game is a single elimination format until one team wins the new NBA Cup trophy.
In-season tournament games start this Friday, and games will happen every Tuesday and Friday throughout November. When there are only four teams left, the semifinals and championship games will be moved to T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Dec. 7 and 9, respectively.
The opening games tip off with a doubleheader on ESPN: Julius Randle and the New York Knicks at Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard’s Milwaukee Bucks at Fiserv Forum starting 4:30 p.m. PT/7:30 p.m. ET, followed by Luka Dončić and the Dallas Mavericks at Nikola Jokić and the NBA Champion Denver Nuggets at Ball Arena starting at 7 p.m. PT/10 p.m. ET. For additional games, check out the complete In-Season Tournament schedule here.
