Young Dolph’s birthday was not forgotten. He received his first posthumous track, “Hall of Fame.” Released by his team, the song’s premiere lands on what would have been the late rapper’s 37th birthday.
Adolph Robert Thornton Jr., was shot and killed in hometown of Memphis in November 2021.
Young Dolph’s “Hall Of Fame” captured his love for sunglasses and chains. As well as license plate on a car saying, “PRE” for Paper Route Empire. Young Dolph founded the independent label “PRE” in 2010.
Along with his record label honoring him, his wife shared a video tribute as well along with Young Dolph’s birthday message.
Having experienced grief through and through, I can truly testify to Bill Spence’s explanation that grief is really just love with nowhere to go.
It is truly the essence of all the love you want to give but can’t. But I choose to express every ounce of my love for those whom I love because it can’t stay bottled up inside.
So yesterday, tomorrow and especially today my family and I will celebrate the man affectionately known as Daddy in our home and Dolph to the world. Happy Birthday Daddy, we forever love you

Additionally, his good friend Deion Sanders didn’t forget — wishing the late rapper a happy birthday by sharing a clip of him and the Jackson St. football team.
