At least 10 persons have been confirmed dead in a road crash involving two buses.
Information available to African Entertainment indicate that the two buses wrongly tried to overtake, leading to the crash.
The crash, African Entertainment has gathered, occurred at Gomoa Mampong on the Kasoa-Winneba Highway in the Central Region of Ghana.
The crash occurred on Sunday, August 22. Several other passengers were injured as a result of the crash.
Those injured are said to be in severe condition, African Entertainment understands.
The injured passengers have been sent to the Winneba Trauma Hospital for treatment.
Among the dead are six men and four women.
African Entertainment is informed that the Boss bus with registration number GN 4741-10 was coming from Takoradi to Accra while the Deploma Bus with registration number GS 6262-19 was from Accra to Ivory Coast.
