During his recent video interview on the Afrobeats Podcast, Blaqbonez has named his friend, CKay as one of the best at creating solid music projects.
Speaking during his recent video interview on the Afrobeats Podcast, Blaqbonez stated that CKay is one of the few artists that can create a Made in Lagos level project. The video was shared via Youtube on Monday, the 20th of December 2021.
Blaqbonez and CKay were both signed to Chocolate City for a while and they managed to develop a great relationship before the latter left for Warner Music South Africa. While Blaqbonez has been dropping projects since his undergraduate days, he encountered someone with a unique talent for creating projects in CKay.
The singer released two EPs during his time at Chocolate City, WTF is CKay and CKay The First. The latter which was released in 2019 housed the current global smash hit, Love Nwantiti.
Blaqbonez was speaking to Adesope Olajide on this latest video interview episode on the Afrobeats Podcast when the conversation veered to his relationship with CKay.
