    Breaking news ABC anchors Betsy Singer and Stacey Bacca says goodbye to the news broadcast station.

    Betsy Singer of KAAL-Tv broadcasting for Rochester Minnesota leave was announced on Monday, May 23rd.

    Chris Kuball and Laura Lee shared the news that after 13 years, Besty Singer was leaving the news desk at ABC 6 News to spend time with her family and take care of her parents.

    Singer worked on the air in the Rochester area for the last 20 years, she made her first debut on the anchor desk at ABC 6 in June, 2009.

    She also served in boardrooms, at fundraisers, and all around the community helping out local non-profits.  And, while she may be saying ‘goodbye’ to the anchor desk, she still plans to serve the community she loves.

    Her dedication and commitment to her work as an anchor and report won her two Regional Emmy Awards as well as other honors and awards.
    In regard to Singers leave, Rochester news talk radio’s Jessica Williams wrote, Betsy, I know the community will miss you.  I personally have enjoyed hearing you speak and emcee at many events and have admired your professionalism for years.  Thank you for all that you have done for this community and the people in it.  Glad you are still going to be in the area.  And since we seem to know a lot of the same people (or so I’m told), I’m sure I will see you in the future! – Jessica Williams

    Chicago’s very own channel 7 Breaking news ABC anchor, Stacey Bacca also announced her leave from the network within the past week.

    In her message to viewers Sunday, Stacey said, “You, all of you out there, have made this such a difficult choice. I love coming here every weekend. I love my job. But I also love family time. My priorities are shifting. Time is the most valuable asset I have right now.”

    Stacey Bacca has co-anchored ABC7’s top rated weekend morning newscasts for 20 years, greeting viewers with a cheerful, “Good morning!” on Saturday and Sunday. She joined ABC7 in 2002, keeping loyal viewers informed across the Chicago area as an anchor/reporter.
