American songwriter and singer, Britney Spears, has had her dogs taken from her over reported “neglect”.
A TMZ report sighted by African Entertainment revealed that Britney’s dog sitter and housekeeper took the dogs away because she felt they were being neglected by the singer.
The development, revealed the report, resulted into a confrontation between Britney and her dog sitter, leading to a criminal probe.
The report says sources revealed that about two weeks ago, one of Britney’s dogs became sick and the dog sitter — who is also a nurse — took that dog and Britney’s other dog to the vet.
However, according to the report, the two dogs were never returned home.
The dog sitter kept and took care of the dogs because she believed they were not safe at Britney’s home, the report added.
As a result, Britney, on August 10, 2021, reportedly called the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department to report a theft.
However, when cops arrived at her home she reportedly backed off and sent them away.
