The novel coronavirus disease (covid-19) has so far killed 99,430 people across the African Union member States.
The Africa CDC made this known in its latest update.
According to Africa CDC, in Africa as of February 17, 2021, some 3,772,561 confirmed cases had been recorded.
It said some 3,320,739 people have recovered from the virus on the continent after clinical treatment.
