Daily Pop host Justin Sylvester notes that Queen Elizabeth is sick, and this may be the reason for Harry and Meghan’s return to the UK.
The host compared the couples reuniting with the Queen as a sign of visiting before it is too late.
He said, while she is at her best right now, maybe Harry and Meghan came to say hi.
His co-host Lonnie Love replied back to him saying, “her momma made it to 99, she gone make it to 100”.
“I hope so I really like her,” replied Daily Pop Guest host Jonathan Van Ness.
The couple attended the Invictus Games. This is Meghan Markle’s first experience attending the UK event.
Since they left in March of 2020, the couple have only returned for important events.
One of them included his grandfather Prince Philip‘s funeral in April 2021. They also returned to unveil a statue of his late mother Princess Diana alongside older brother Prince William in July 2021. (In addition to the COVID-19 pandemic limiting travel, Meghan gave birth to their daughter Lilibet Diana — named after the Queen’s childhood nickname and Harry’s mother — in June.)
Although, the two are enjoying the games Daily Pop host Justin Sylvester may not be incorrect.
According to reports, Queen Elizabeth is sick. Queen Elizabeth II will not be attending the Easter Sunday worship service in Windsor this year. The Queen missed the Maundy Thursday service for only the fifth time in her 70-year reign.
The 95-year-old British monarch, who also serves as head of the Church of England, will be unable to attend services, The Guardian reported, speculating that it was due to health-related issues.
They also noted that the Queen has had to pull out of other events recently.
Both hosts agreed that it would be awesome to have a full family photo.
“The only thing that I really need to happen, is for a picture with all of her grandchildren. That includes Lilibet and Archie. We need that for history.”
