    Companies Covering abortion travel costs

    Disney, Netflix, and Dicks Sporting Good listed as a few companies covering abortion travel costs. Dicks Sporting goods CEO Lauren Hobart shared details.

    Disney told employees on Friday that it remains committed to providing comprehensive access to quality healthcare, including for abortions, according to a Disney spokesperson.

    The company’s benefits will cover the cost of employees who need to travel to another location to access care. As well as obtaining an abortion, it said.

    A Netflix spokesperson told Variety that the company offers a $10,000 lifetime allowance per full-time employee. Also including their dependents per service for travel. The care covers “cancer treatment, transplants, gender affirming care, or abortion”.

    Comcast, Paramount, Sony, warner Bros

    More companies include Comcast. Even though the company formerly funded anti-abortion political committees. Paramount, Sony, and Warner Bros join entertainment companies offering abortion travel care.
