Companies Covering abortion travel costs
Disney, Netflix, and Dicks Sporting Good listed as a few companies covering abortion travel costs. Dicks Sporting goods CEO Lauren Hobart shared details.

Dicks Sporting Good employees receive up to $4,000 in travel expenses. But to the nearest location.
Meta stated, “We intend to offer travel expense reimbursements, to the extent permitted by law, for employees who will need them to access out-of-state health care and reproductive services. We are in the process of assessing how best to do so given the legal complexities involved.”
Last month Amazon also stated covering employees up to $4,000.

Other companies covering abortion travel costs include CVS, Microsoft, Netflix, Bumble and UnitedHealth also vowed to uphold employees’ access to abortions. However, each vary with abortion care travel expenses, Reuters reported.
Apple spoke out saying, “We support our employees’ rights to make their own decisions regarding their reproductive health.”
Disney told employees on Friday that it remains committed to providing comprehensive access to quality healthcare, including for abortions, according to a Disney spokesperson.
The company’s benefits will cover the cost of employees who need to travel to another location to access care. As well as obtaining an abortion, it said.
A Netflix spokesperson told Variety that the company offers a $10,000 lifetime allowance per full-time employee. Also including their dependents per service for travel. The care covers “cancer treatment, transplants, gender affirming care, or abortion”.
Comcast, Paramount, Sony, warner Bros
More companies include Comcast. Even though the company formerly funded anti-abortion political committees. Paramount, Sony, and Warner Bros join entertainment companies offering abortion travel care.
