Accra Hearts of Oak have defeated Ashanti Gold SC in the MTN FA Cup final.
The result on Sunday night, August 8, 2021, means Hearts have won their double of the 2020/2021 season.
It would be recalled that the Phobians were crowned the Ghana Premier League champions a few weeks ago.
And they succeeded in winning the double after a penalty shootout with Ashanti Gold SC.
Hearts won 9-8 at the end of the penalty, with the Accra-based club’s goalkeeper, Richard Attah emerging the hero at the end of the day.
